Together, we fell in love with photography and allowed ourselves to envision a life where we worked alongside one another creating art for a living. We married in 2009 and founded our wedding photography business in 2010. Making our dream a reality has been more liberating and fulfilling than we ever could have imagined.
All these years later, we still carry that “I can’t believe we get to do this for a living” joy with us—while bringing our clients a depth of experience that allows them to fully drop into the moment knowing the details are taken care of.
We believe being great wedding photographers is about so much more than knowing how to work a camera or compose a photo. It’s about easing burdens, establishing trust, and instilling confidence—so you can be truly present with your favorite people.
Jake had an entrepreneurial spirit and was incredibly creative (ask him about his past life in ceramics)—but he never thought a career in art was possible. And then he met Anna: the inspiring, impossible-to-turn-away-from art major who gave him the permission he needed to dream about an artistic life.
Our boy-meets-girl story goes like this:
A husband-and-wife team here to bring you a photography experience that feels like a breath of fresh air (...while also squeezing in date nights and wrangling our sons for little league).
While we now have roughly 300 weddings and a decade-and-a-half of experience to our name—this dream business of ours was once just a wide-eyed vision fueled by young love and our shared passion for the arts.
